Double Eagle Disc Golf Open - Oct 10/11 2009

Double Eagle Golf Club has invited our team of professional course designers to come in and design a "reversible" 18 hole disc golf course on the existing 9 hole ball golf course. "Reversible" meaning that on odd days of the month, the course plays clockwise, even days counter. Each tee box has a green near by. This revolutionary concept will be in play for the disc golf event. The morning round will be clockwise, the afternoon round will be counter. Sunday morning will offer a mixture of the two. On site camping with a bar and grill overlooking the course, this is one event you do not want to miss. Read more below.

Bring your golf clubs and join in on the ball golf challenge. After round 2, 9 holes of golf on the green course. Combine your day one disc golf score to your ball golf score. Top third paid out. Night golf, both disc and ball in play. Players party starts Friday night and doesn't end till you go home Sunday. In case of inclement weather, the lower level of the clubhouse will house 100. Located just 30 minutes off Interstate 94, exit at Sauk Centere. Go north on Hwy 71 to Eagle Bend, go left/west on County road 3, go 3 miles to the course on left. The course has plenty of ob greens and bunkers making accuracy critical. Not just a roller course, many holes utilize the rough which consists of mature trees, similar to Riverside Park in St. Cloud. With true par 5's, 4's and technical par 3's, this course will test your game in every way. If the field is less than 60, we will be able to use golf carts during competition. More info coming soon.
